Does anyone on here "rebuild" or "re-valve" shocks??

I recently had a pair of Koni's re-valved, seals upgraded by Truechoice Koni Racing Services, Ohio. Quality work and service.

I modify and revalve my own shocks, dirtbikes and ATV rezzy shocks.

I run Bilstein shocks on dirt circle track and I am wanting to start rebuilding and re-valving my own shocks. I am looking for some insight on a couple of things or a directing where to find the information.

there is alot that goes into revalving and reworking shocks.first thing is learning what you want..second thing is learning how to do it..the correct way.if you will call your shock manf..alot of time they run classes to teach you how to do it.the next thing is having a shock dyno to make sure what you just done..comes out right..sometimes its just easier to send them to someone..am a pro shock,afco and peneske.and interga dealer.let me ask you this question are you allowed to run adjustable shocks..mite be a god deal if you are to invest in them.you can do a interga that will move 9 postion comp and rebound.that should get you anywhere you want to be

We can not run adjustable or pressure adjustable shocks.
I have contacted Bilstein and been given information on valve stacks. I also have access to a shock dyno. I have contacted Accu-Force about their one on one class. I am still debating as to whether I want to invest the money into schooling, tools and equipment....

But at the same time I wanted to experiment with different digressive curves and their effects for different track conditions. Something like a big nose compression with a high speed blow off on the Left Rear for a metric chassis.

Santhuff Suspension Specialties can rebuild many different brands and do this with there own valving. If you are interested give me a call

We did a set of Bilstiens done for my buddys Metric dirt car. Built and dyno'd by some fella, not sure if you'd know his name, it's something like Scooter Bloomerquists?

Well I had no idea that "Scooter" did shocks for others? lol
Did your friend feel that it was a good investment?? I mean, I know that somebody with that much experience should be able to get a good package together for your friend, but is there anything special or trick that is being trickled down from late model to a stock suspension chassis?

After attending the Accu-Force seminar, there is one very important thing that stands out over everything else. You have to KNOW what you are putting on your car!
Don't assume what the valving is, or that it is labeled is correct. The shock needs to be dynoed before you put it on your car, so that you KNOW what you have on the car and KNOW what changes you are making with a shock change.
