anyone build their own split mono leaf system out of common available landrum or afco chrysler style leafs?
Thanks!

Re: SPLIT MONO LEAF?
I still don't get the purpose of "split mono-leaf" springs??
Pleas educate me.
Thanks,
Now I do like what is a double main leaf spring with the second leaf rolled around the front spring eye. I think Chicane67, who used to be over at team Camaro years ago, used to push them if not mistaken..

I've used split and non split with success. It just seems to be thar split leaf design in so you can purchase the same chrysler spring and make it fit any vehicle you want.
Anyone else shine some light on this?

john calvert makes the split monoleaf springs and he can give you different spring rates in the rear portion of spring to raise or lower you cars rear ride height. art
