hi guys finally getting car to hook up good front wheels about a foot in air but now its turning right how much pre load should i put in rear right ladder bar lengthen or shorten adjuster also would it be better to install a stabaliser bar thanks
Ronnie, dont know how old your stuff is, but when my car (always went straight) started to go right i almost hit the wall on the 3rd pass i found my rear shock was not rebounding causing my car to go right, might not be your problem but a quick check never hurts.
sorry guys i didnt explain myself properly it was running fine but i have dialed in about another 300 hp on motor with trans brake now it is turning right on launch
You may need just a tiny bit of additional pre-load to the right rear if the car is driving right. More power would make it to drive harder to the right.
If it is only pulling to the left when in the air it could be wheelie bars steering the car. If the right wheelie bar is hitting too much sooner than the left it can steer you right. Vice versa on the other side.
If the car is pulling to either side while in the air way down track and it is not wheelie bar steering issues you can be fairly sure it will either be tire diameter difference or in rare cases one tire will grow more at high speeds. I saw that not too long ago here in our area on an Outlaw car. When that happens the car will pull more as speeds increase.
