How about former NHRA Comp. Eliminator World Champion Jerry Arnold? I've watched Jerry since the 60's and he seems to be a very inovative racer. Jerry works out of the garage at his home, not some high dollar state of the art shop with a uniformed crew at his disposal. His crew is his family and friends. He has a regular job like most of the rest of us and has to use his vacation time to go racing. He has his own engine program, not some "paid for" technology. All this concidered, Jerry still managed to win a world championship in one of the most competitive and costly classes in NHRA. He has also won several NHRA division 3 titles. I firmly believe that if he could devote all his time to racing he would have more wins and national records to his credit. For these reasons I think Jerry would be a great and interesting interview. Just an idea.
