I have a multi part question for Mike. Both are related, regarding valve seat angles and valve back cut angles.

First... regarding the use of 50 to 55 degree INTAKE seat angles... could you please explain A. How the tall seat angles seem to affect wetflow entering the chamber, B. Raw flow #'s on the bench, and C. (and most importantly) Power on the dyno..... Compared to the same head with a more conventional 45 degree seat layout....

Secondly in regards to back cut angles..... specifically on intake valves, what are the key determining factors for you on what angle you ultimately end up putting in a head. Chapman Racing Heads IN GENERAL seem to like using a 33 degree back cut on their 45 degree intake seats, how did you arrive at the 33 degree back cut VS: other angles? And can I go too low on my back cut angle where it may look great on the flow bench, but hurt power on the dyno? A 22 Degree Back cut for instance?

I could come up with a hundred more questions, but I'll stop there. I don't want to take up the whole show LOL. Thanks .......

Finished my interview with Mike Chapman today. Mike is a super busy guy and it was nice of him to give us an hour. His interview is going to broadcast on 10/8
