My first HPV race

Post by Beverly » Tue Jul 22, 2003 1:25 pm

We traveled to Kenosha, WI to watch the human powered vehicle races. Wow! These were so cool to watch. The riders came from as far away as NC and CO. We will have pics on our website soon!

If you enjoyed the HPV racing you might also enjoy the World Human Powered Speed Challenge in Battle Mountain NV. Details are at the official website. Speeds of over 80 MPH are obtained on level ground with no wind. Kinda like Bonneville for HPV's with less heat and noise.

Great to see that both of you enjoyed the HPV event. But be careful...it can be habit forming and therefore helpful to your health! :)

HPV bug

Post by Beverly » Mon Jul 28, 2003 5:08 pm

My husband came back from the race saying "Wouldn't that be a great way to get in shape? We wouldn't compete in that many races!"
I think it may be too late, he has been bitten by the bug!!!!
