Machine shop in Tucson?

Post by Dan Clarke »

Hi,

I'll be building an LT1 circle track motor soon and am new to Tucson so am asking for recomendations as to a good race engine oriented machine shop in Tucson.

Feel free to pm me at clarke1 at znet.com, If you would rather.

I would appreciate info, good or bad.

Thanks,

Dan

Try calling Don's Hot Rod Shop or Townsends Racing Works.....Both have been in business for decades in Tucson.....Either can probably steer you in the right direction....Good Luck!!...Dan.

Townsends has been out of business for quite a few years. Frank passed on two or three years ago. Don's is still in business. Good guys and probably have a better handle on the hot rod business than anyone else in town. They don't do machine work so any recommendation would be unbiased. I didn't know about Mike Criss.
