Thiokol aviation tank liner.. Any experiences?

Post by crazyman »

http://www.ebay.com/itm/331909652933?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT

I just ordered some tonight for my project saturn with E85, steel intake, and an M62 blower. It had a few pinholes I JB kwik'ed on the outside, but the more I thought about it, pressure, alcohol, heat? Bad idea. This is aviation grade impervious to alcohol liner. Good enough to fill 5 minor pinholes in a custom steel intake?

Polysulfide 2 part epoxy.

1/8" steel, not a rust issue. Inaccessable welds with a few pinholes I couldn't see before making them inaccessable.

Duh me for leaving this part out. Duh'oh! I'm attempting to use this to seal weld pinholes on a steel intake I built to fit an M62 between the firewall and head with underside shooter 42LB'ers.
