Anyone still not repair potted MSD boxes???

The box on my bike runs only when it wants to. i finally took it off to see if I could fix it and it turns out,it's potted. Has anyone ever removed the potting, or know how? My box is an MC-3 . They retail now for around 700.00. I have tried calling Ron at TechWest, but no one ever answers. Left voicemail,never got returned.

When you say "potted"....what is the material like?
If you use the right solvent you can often remove it or soften it.

For example I've repaired a couple of computers from the Dodge Ram.
It's a soft rubbery type material which you can dig out relatively easily with a sharp point and a blade.
