4+3 T10 case

Post by crazyamc » Mon Apr 13, 2015 6:53 pm

My question is, if I have a complete 4+3 with the overdrive, is the T10 main case itself any different from a regular late model GM aluminum case? I was going to rob the overdrive to put on my pickup, and the T10 case (empty) to use elsewhere... Thanks, Ken

Not sure if the case is different; it DOES have a different number attached to it, and GENERALLY there is a reason for it.
There are a bunch of other changes to adapt the OD.
SOME are as follows:
M/shaft reverse gear
Reverse Idler front and rear
Midplate
Mainshaft
