I have an protrans can i replace input shaft i took away the locking ring but i feel it stuck, and one more Why is it rubber pieces betwen the steels and frictions

You must be extremely careful when attempting to press a shaft out of a drum. I use and sell ATI, I do not know what the press fit is on Pro Trans stuff.


The pieces of o-ring are there to hold the steels off of the clutches, to reduce drag.
