TKO 600

Post by k-star » Mon May 02, 2016 7:00 am

I have a 5 spd Tko 600 that the customer brought in for a tail housing oil leak. I have never had one apart before, so I have a few questions.

I assume that there is no gasket available for the tail to main case? What does everyone use to seal this?

The big question is, there are 3 shafts that go through the main case into the tail housing, on the OD of the bushing that those shafts pass through were "O" rings. The ones that were on it are all torn up, and looked to be incorrect. Where can I buy the correct replacement "O" ring to fit proper.

Thanks, Keith

Give Bob Hanlon at Hanlon Motorsports a call in Elverson PA. Hes seen it all and has a lot of parts I can't get through the normal channels.

Was your suspicion correct that the o-rings were wrong? Did you have to change the bushings?
