Speedo pickup for GM T-5

Again regarding the Camaro V6 T-5 (coupled to a UK Ford V6, but that's another story..)

Purchased a Electronic speedometer adaptor to suit "all (most...) GM gearboxes" to use on this box. At the same time another for a Ford T5, for my V8.
The GM unit didn't fit really well.... It looks like it is made for GM auto boxes only?. Somehow got it to work- With a piece of rubber and som bracketry...
One thing is for sure, the Ford unit does not fit at all.

Any knowlodge on which sender suits this gearbox?

There have been many, many different species of T5. What year is the transmission from? Chevy stopped using cables during the T5 era so there should be an OE sender fitment.

Is it a Chevy transmission or a Ford? 1993 and up, Chevy used "Ford" T5s behind the V6s (and 6 speeds behind the V8)

"GM T-5" is broad.

F-bodies had early (lubrication differences,) middle, both with speedo-gear-driven hybrid VSS. Then they had a reluctor style VSS.

And that's if your unit hasn't been swapped to another housing during a build as a hybrid.

Metal service tag numbers. Or pics of the tailhousing & VSS / reluctor bits with which you're dealing would be very helpful.
