I would like to try to use a return line on a dual weber set up in a vw rabbit.
Anyone have an idea where to find a fuel pressure regulator able to work with that low pressure (approx 3psi)
Weber carb return line

Sure. I ran a Volvo 240 TIC fuelpump on the bike the first few years, no issues at all.NORSK wrote:Ok,do you think that regulator can handle the higher flow of a fuel injection pump?
Just trying to get some circulation through the system to cool the gas/carbs down a bit

Why not just use a restrictor, say 0.030" -0.040", in a return line teed in at or near the carbs? It worked for tens of millions of carbureted V-8s in the 50's through the 80's. The main purpose was reducing vapor lock after a hot soak.

I planned to run it like a EFI set up with a cooler in the return line.MadBill wrote:Why not just use a restrictor, say 0.030" -0.040", in a return line teed in at or near the carbs? The carbs are exposed to quite much heat since they are on a counterflow head.
Even if i use header wrap and some heat shields, they still get a little hot.
But yes,for vapor lock your suggestion would be fine i guess.
