sbc exhaust
i will be running a 85 monte witha 305 sbc purestock on a dirt track, i am looking for the best flow exhaust, we can not use center dumps.. any one have some suggestions?? thanks

Not enough information.
When you are talking 305 and Metric chassis you are pretty much stuck with what you have.
You might try and see if a stock exh manifold off a 1973 - 75 Chevy Truck will fit - depending on clearance of the firewall - if it doesn't one off a 74 - 76 Chevy van . Stay away from the ones that have the ports for the air tubes if possible.
If you have to use the spacer with the flap in it - just cut it out with a cutting torch and plug the hole by tapping a thread and using a bolt or else just weld it shut.
The origioinal Metric ones have a habit of breaking at the studs.
