That was all I was given.

Probably just another "happy" dyno, I see this all the time.

What's the engine build specs?
A complete pic of dyno sheet might help too.

Chipped, see his response just above your post.

Dave, I'm glad you took the time out of your day to bring that to my attention.

I would think the shop who did the build and dyno tune would have a more in depth sheet he could take a pic of if the supplied sheet only has HP and TQ numbers, but looks to me like there might be a little more info on his sheet by the way he took the pic.

No problem chipped, really.
I wonder what dyno system that is. This is the sparsest printout I have ever seen.

No that was all that was on the sheet. I had to crop it down to get it to post I have asked for the United corrected numbers but he has not got back with me yet. He runs pretty reputable mopar program. This was the first motor I ever had on a Dyno

I know I am loosing some HP because motor is turning fan, mechanical water pump, and power steering pump. I know it was not dynoed with any accessories on motor I'm not sure how much I'm loosing there. It is a true street car

I'm just wondering what I could get out of it in tenths. with some suspension work (caltracs's) and ditch the 3.55 for some 3.92 or 4.10 maybe even electric water pump and fans, I'm wanting to get it down to the 6.99 range. Thanks for the help

Josh, I just found ya. I was looking under ''Engine Tech''. How ya doing this morning? Give these guys the engine run down, cam (Bullit 250 @ .050 intake if I remember), type intake, flow numbers if you have them, carb., distributer, maybe the engine builder, stuff like that.Type and size of converter. I did some reading on the replies...in regards to 60ft. time vs. ET and MPH. Nice picture! Feels good going for a ride too!

Josh, I can't predict what individual chassis improvements might net but know this...
You can have all the power in the world with a junk chassis and go nowhere.
However, with the right chassis mods an underpowered engine can win the race.

You probably want to pay attention to what Stock and Superstock racers do with the chassis.

Go ahead with your chassis upgrades and worry less about your perceived HP number.
If it runs clean now that makes it easier to judge your changes.

Motor made 574 hp and 572 tq on engine dyno. Motor is 418 sb mopar stroker motor. It is in a 72 challenger street car with stock rear suspension, 3.55 gear and a reworked converter from ptc roughly 3800 stall. A competition 727 from tci. Car weighs 3800 with me in it. The best time so far is 7:44 @91 mph in the 1/8. With a 26x10 slick on it. 60 ft times are 1.6. I am looking to try some caltracs on the rear but I just don't feel the mph matches the hp.
i'm showing the very same TQ -to- HP relationship as your Dyno sheet ( that is , within 1 HP and 1 TQ Lbs/Ft )
... its just your Dyno numbers are showing way too high
... about 100+ HP and Torque off .... seems to be a very happy Dyno ??

its showing a true 461.0 HP and 461.0 TQ output if at around 1500 Ft Density Altitude ( 1st Picture )
and its calculating out of the 461.0 HP/ 461.0 TQ ... you are actually using = 431.4 Peak HP and 433.2 Peak TQ down the Dragstrip ( not the same as RWHP ) ( 2nd Picture )

your actual real Rear Wheel HP as you cross 660 Feet 1/8th mile = 312.6

Did they use your carb on the dyno?

Yes they did. 750 demon. A week after putting motor in car the carb started messing up. I took it to the track and started blowing through the converter so I sent the converter off. I then gave all my engine specs to AED carbs in Richmond and they recommended I get there 900 modified which they said it was like an 830. I am wanting to put an air fuel ratio guage on.
