5.33 in a 1/8,what should a 1/4 be?????
Hi...I was a Atco Raceway on thursday night and my 4th run was 5.62/125.71 in the 1/8 and 8.75/156.21 in the 1/4...I turned the power up about 40hp. and went for the 5th run. I missed shifting into OD (Gearvendors) at 1000 ft. and coasted thru...5.53/128.73 in the 1/8, and 8.76/141.40....can anyone give me a 1/4 mile et.& mph. guess....OH can you tell me why my ladder bar Malibu rides so hard driving it to the track and after it goes in the 8's, then it rides like a Caddy on the way home OLDHEAD

Well I didn't want to confuse the question but I guess I have to tell all....The last run was with the OD never turned off from the run before....so what happened on the run in question is the od shifts into od at 20 mph(about 15ft.) so my 60 ft. was a 1.32 instead of 1.29 in the run before...and at 1000 ft. instead of going into OD. I shifted out....And I was thinking about 8.60 at 159................. OLDHEAD

Go to Page 3 at:

and adjust the horsepower input until you've matched your speed. (Don't worry about ET. This is affected by variables too numerous to "capture" accurately in any software package.) Then, go to Page 2 and you can play with gearing for the quarter and see the effect.
