Need a new helmet

I think snell 2000 is the cut off.. I may be wrong...but my Simpson is Snell 2005 as I suspect most new ones will be. Simpson is made in China by the way.

purchased it new last summer.

just got off the phone with Simpson in TX. If it is hat sized (numbers) its made in US. If its small.med.lg.xl its outsourced. There is no price difference except the mass retailers probably get a better deal on the s-xl sizing. so if you buy from Jegs, request it be hat sized, which is better for your safety anyway
