$235 - New UltraDyne custom flat tappet solid lifter cam and lifters for small block Chevy. New in box. Never installed. Similar duration to Duntov 30-30 cam with higher lift and tighter LSA. Reduced base circle to clear 3.75" stroke 383 or 400 crank. Ground by Harold Brookshire when he had UltraDyne up and running.

Specs...... 252 degrees duration @ 0.050" lift intake and exhaust, 0.525" lift, ground on 110 degree LSA, reduced base circle of 1.10" for clearance with 3.75" stroke 383 or 400 crank, ground on Pro-55 core.

Mike, Harold said to set valve lash (both intake and exhaust) at 0.026" hot (if running cast-iron block and aluminum heads, 0.022" cold for initial setting).

I had UltraDyne custom ground my solid lifter flat tappet cam with the following specs for mainly street / highway use...... 252 / 252 degrees duration @ 0.050 " lift and 0.525" / 0.525" total lift for both intake and exhaust. Cam is ground on 110 degree LSA using Pro55 core for extended life and reduced base circle of 1.100". Seat duration @ 0.020" lift is 285 deg. for both intake and exhaust. Overlap is 65 degrees. Harold said to degree intake lobe to 104 deg. intake closing angle ATDC. UltraDyne solid lifters have EDM oiling holes in center. Seat Timing from cam card is as follows....

Grind number: SB285/285 F10
Serial number: J5005

Duration @ 0.050" - 252 intake, 252 exhaust
Lobe Lift - 0.350" intake, 0.350" exhaust
Lobe Separation - 110 degrees

Seat Duration @ 0.020" - 285 degrees intake, 285 degrees exhaust
Gross Valve Lift (1.5:1 Rockers) - 0.525" intake, 0.525" exhaust
Valve Lash (Hot) - 0.026" intake
Degree Intake Lobe To - 104 degrees ATDC
Seat Timing, Intake - 38 degrees BTDC / 67 degrees ABDC / 104 degrees
Seat Timing, Exhaust - 78 degrees BBDC / 27 degrees ATDC / 116 degrees

Overlap - 65 degrees
