I have a BBC short block. Crower 4.5" 2.200" std bbc rod journal, Crower rods, Arias pistons (high dome) 4.280" bore Tall deck GM block casting# 473478. New Schneider solid roller, Cloyes hex-a-just. Built by Myles Engineering (Victory Engines) in Cleveland Ohio. It is a customer's back-up and sat around for years. I took it apart and cleaned and checked the clearances, then reassembled. There are a couple of cylinders with marks from sitting. There is a set of CP Pistons that are 4.310 bore size if you are uncomfortable with the bores. Clevite rod and main bearings, DuraBond cam bearings. Hastings rings. $3800.00 price delivered on cradle in crate. If interested, give me a call.

I also forgot several items included in this package. The rotating assembly is internally balanced, and includes a 7 1/4" Fluidamper and a set of Crane solid roller lifters.

That man built alot of engines. What year did Ray change the business name from Myles Engineering to Victory Engines? Someone did a nice looking job on this short block.

Ray bought the business when Gary was still alive. Kind of a Land Contract Deal as was explained to me. Think the name was changed after Ray completed the purchase. Believe the name change was mid 2000s. Ray probably did the actual work on the Short Block, as Ray worked for Gary since his H.S. Days. Think Gary gave him a Gold Watch for yrs served. LOL
