Funny how we always hear about things like spotted owls and how we can't log or do this or that on certain areas of land.
Well they now want to control or fix the dense forests in this state. How? Prescribed burns. Nice how many poor animals will die from that?
The logical way to accomplish forest management is logging and using the left over biomass for fuel, not totally wasting the resource. Oh well what else would you expect from a Marxist communist controlled state?

I agree with logging, it is one of the best renewable, the controlled burns only take out the small dead under brush and keep forrest fires from getting out of hand, some pine trees will only reproduce from a forrest fire as well as some animals actually thrive on burned out forrest, it actually makes things grow back very green and healthy and faster than you think.exhaustgases wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2017 9:15 pmFunny how we always hear about things like spotted owls and how we can't log or do this or that on certain areas of land.

A bulldozer is a way better option than a fire, and way more controllable.GARY C wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2017 11:09 pmI agree with logging, it is one of the best renewable, the controlled burns only take out the small dead under brush and keep forrest fires from getting out of hand, some pine trees will only reproduce from a forrest fire as well as some animals actually thrive on burned out forrest, it actually makes things grow back very green and healthy and faster than you think.exhaustgases wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2017 9:15 pmFunny how we always hear about things like spotted owls and how we can't log or do this or that on certain areas of land.
