Why is socialism still alive?
Can any of you lefties explain this crazy "it's free" phenomenon, especially with the younger generation?
It's like bypassing the far left and jumping right into socialism...who would have thought the US of A would embrace that kind of doctrine??
I was at the Bannon Frum debate last week...Bannon nailed it. The future is either populist capitalism or populist socialism
Bernie Saunders had a more rabid young following than both trump and hillary
What's your choice?

Because society likes "free" public schools, police departments, fire departments, public highways, FAA, medicare, and Social security, to name a few.
Not Every Democracy succeeds, nor every Venezuela fails.
What a DA stupid biased thread topic/question.

I get that... but nothing has to come from somewhere!
I think my 6 year old grandson understands money better than some of these 30 year old millennials.
Got him saving so he can buy what he wants with his savings...I'm trying to teach him he has to work for what he wants. He raked leaves for me this week, worked his azz off cuz the leaves were getting blown around...he figured out he had to cover them so he didn't have to chase them around...
Now he doesn't want to spend his money,, Hahahaha. He descided he wants to keep saving it..thinks it's cool his piggy bank is really heavy!
He is more astute financially than that kooky new your socialist

Re: Why is socialism still alive?
I'm all for free. Socialist are not. If they were they the demonrat bunch would not be locking up land and restricting our free use of it to live on and use as we wish. Socialists nowadays are all about control, more so than ever before. Nothing is free in a socialist society, there is only a perception that it is free, you will pay for it by being a slave to that society one way or the other. That is why all the brain washed youngsters need to live in that kind of society for a while. Try it on for a few years, just like trying on a pair of shoes. They will soon find the grass is not green on that side.

You wouldn't know serious if it sat on your face.
Just answer the question or quit whining and keep keep sucking on the socialist teat you proclaim to abhor.

To old for school do not instigate the police so have not needed them or fire department ,medicare and do not fly, But I do pay into SS. So I guess I am guilty of using public highways unless me paying taxes gives me that right.

We now see your true character, if it doesn't benefit you, you don't care, When school was free, you got "yours".
Tell Jesus when you meet him about your charity to others, should be an interesting conversation.
The rest have no equal merit to my contention, you just got no moral basis for your position.
Shame.
