Hey guys
I am looking for a replacement oil pump for a 1810 power stroke hone.
The pump mounts to the drive motor with a collar style clamp and uses a tang/slot style drive.

If anyone has a replacement or suitable substitute please advise as this is a 2nd primary machine for doing large runs rods for stock type builds.

Thanks for your thoughts

Dave

Somewhere around here I have the actual pump mfg info. Still not cheap but better than Sunnen.

Those pumps are pretty simple. If not worn badly end play is the key to good initial pickup/vacuum.
Cracks in the hardened rubber pickup hose will also aggravate the heck out of things.

On your previous advice long ago I used a 40 dollar 1/3 HP submersible sump pump from Menards.
I put a plug in on it for easy replacement. I also bought my first ever 12 buck lifetime replacement.
Since they are only 4 miles away I don't keep a spare.

In my case the motor developed a short that would kick the heaters out.
Why haven't I had the motor fixed? Lazy or out of sight, out of mind. pick one
Someday.

Keep a spare on hand perhaps?
