Anyone here have a use for a Sunnen "Sidewinder" honing mandrel driver? Got one fifteen years old used once and then back into the plastic bag. Nice piece if you have need which I do not. will post a photo when my phone/camera gets back from repair. $500.00 and I pay the ride to the lower forty eight with insurance.

What exactly does it bring to the party over the P180?

The P 200 is designed to be used in a drill press with a 1/2" chuck where the P 180 is designed to be driven by a hand-held 3/8" drill motor. Slightly larger, slightly more stable.

P-200? I will have to look it up and when my phone/camera arrives I will send ya a photo. I really do not remember the Sunnen number for it and it lived forever in a small tool box in it's original plastic bag on a shelf. The Sunnen box long time in the landfill. It is the the drill press or hand drill version that is designed to keep it from "wadding up" when honing larger or longer bores then the P-180 driver is comfortable with. I used it hone prop shaft bushings for a wastewater treatment plant one time following a line bore. Worked awesome.
