Anyone here using a Rottler FE24 A airfloat boring bar?

We've just gotten one in and have a couple of questions about whether to keep it or send it down the road.

FWIW, I think it would be a really nice machine to operate, but my machinist is technophobic. He's had a few machines for which when the electronics failed, parts were NLA; he's also heard horror stories about the hassles with Newen, et al, being down for weeks while waiting for a high dollar service call.

Shouldn't be the problem with this one, as Rottler supports the older machines pretty well and it's as much electro-mechanical as electronic.
