I have two of these bikes - I originally bought the other one to have a spare. This past winter, I figured it deserved some loving, too, and took it apart to every last bolt and rebuilt it the way I wanted it. It's no showcase bike, I built it to be ridden, but still, I think it turned out pretty well.

This is my street strip '71 Z28 , SBC 421", ATI full manual TH350, custom ATI 5000 converter, 430 gears with positraction, pump gas. Should be in the low 600 HP range.

My girlfriends car. Was used to dragrace and street and shows now only street and shows.

Gratuitous smoke picture. I do a rolling 2nd gear burnout so I don't arrive at the starting line with all of the trash between the water box and the line. I have yet to see another X body Skylark at a drag strip.
