With me just getting into stock car racing (this will be my rookie season) Should I look for a sponsor or run a year or 2 to get some stats then look for a sponsor?

I am currently looking for racing teams at the grass roots level to sponsor. Please send me a package with the following info.

What tracks you will be racing at.
How many drivers attend each event.
How many events you will be attending at each track.
What your safety gear needs are.
What size decal area do you have available.

Also feel free to include any other information that you think might help us see how much impact you will bring us for the sales of racing equipment.
