NHRA Allowance on Rubber Lines

Guys, i'm workin on creating some fittings for my valve spring oilers in my valve covers. I'm going to run a t-fitting from the oil diverter plate that sits over top of the oil filter in the oil pan for my pressure side and then run the lines up to my spring oilers in the valve covers (either the passenger or driver side will be t'd again so I can run my oil temp gauge as well). My question is does NHRA have a requirement for certain types of hoses/lines on oil lines? I believe they do on gas lines, but wasn't certain on oil lines. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the rule is 12" of rubber flex line for fuel, but I've never heard anyone mention oil (be it ATF or Engine) line length.

Personally i'd try to run them in hard line as much as possible, but thats just my preference.

The last time I looked in a rule book about oil lines it said all oil PRESSURE lines had to be pressure tested and certified. I use crimped hydraulic lines because they are exempt from testing and certification. Any oil return lines can be rubber (returns shouldn't have pressure in them)As far as I know these rules are still in affect.

Got a call from NHRA this morning about this. Basically it comes down to what class you run. I know for bracket classes there is no requirment on oil lines, be it supply or return. For other classes (can't remember which, but NHRA told me) there are pressure testing requirements for high pressure oil lines. Some classes don't even allow external oil lines.
