Lots of those links ask the same question and no specific answer. The type of adhesive I want is what ever is used for something like those license plate stickers. They stick real good. I would like it to restick decals like the one guy that posted in one of the links on the above link. So where to get a high quality decal type stickem? The type that have that removable shiny paper backing that you remove and then apply. I want the coating not a double back tape.

Well, actually they do give a specific answer -- for a single use application try 3M Type 77. I have used this myself.

For commercial applications, I would suggest further conversation with 3M.

And if you really want to explore the subject, here is the full text of a book: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q= ... YLV6l8K9Zw

While a spray-on adhesive like 3M #77 may work you really want a "film adhesive" which is basically a uniform layer of goo on release paper. These are available from 3M and others in strengths from post-it note to near permanent.

I worked with PSC Fabricating in a past life and they were great with samples, basic info, and prototype lots. They can go directly from graphic files to laser cutting; probably even MAKE decals. I know there are others but this is going in the direction of commercial stickers, decals, etc. and may give you some ideas.
