Question
I have a four stroke motorbike engine (crankshaft-rod-bearing assembly) and I want to check the clearances
crankshaft end play
big end bearing cage side clearance
crankshaft run out
etc
question is even though it is a four stroke engine (crankshaft-rod-bearing assembly) can I set the clearances up the same as if it was a two stroke engine (crankcase-rod-bearing assembly set up).
clearances I would use will come from a graham bells two stroke performance tuning (onto my four stroke engine).
thanks Steve.

I think people will need to know what specific engine and what specific components you are using in it. You can see from the other thread that there are a wide range of opinions. I put up the picture from the book you are referencing so other readers will know what clearance values you are referring to.
