Dart 540 short block

540 up for grabs. Going a different route.

BBC Dart Big M block 9.8 deck P/N 3126344. Steel Billet main caps splayed 4 bolt mains. Bore is at 4.500. Cylinders Honed with plates, cross hatch still very present. Block needs repair # 5 main bearing has a hair line crack from oil feed. Spun the thrust bearing. Everything else is OK with the block. Block can be repaired had 2 shops look at it reasonable cost. Get crack repaired and line hone it, clean and assemble it, you will have a nice short block 540.

SRP forged pistons small dome pistons 4.500 bore 4.25 stroke balanced. Selling pistons with Total Seal rings the top ring is gap. less than 200 miles, can be reused. Pistons they look new. No Carbon on pistons.

Scat H Beam rods balanced for engine listed 6.385 upgraded to the better ARP 2000 series rod bolts.

Scat Forged standard weight 4340 Stroker crankshaft 4.250 stroke Internal Balanced. 6.385 rods, Mains std/ Rods std. Crank will need welding and polishing. Crank Balanced with pistons and rods listed.
