pro-action 200 cc heads

Ok I have to start off by saying I am new at the cylinder head porting thing so please be gentle with me…

I have a set of iron 23 degree pro action 200cc runner heads that are going on a 406 12.18:1, the cam is 262/268 @.050 .645 lift 106 LSA

This is what the heads are now @28

.100=68.5
.200=134.32
.300=191.63
.400=235.96
.500=260.98
.600=268.51
.700=278.41

The push rod pinch is 2.52 csa. The average sq in area of the port is 2.23122 and they have a 2.02 valve with a throat of 1.850”

Are these good numbers bad numbers???? What do I need to fix and where should I start???

Like i stated in the begining i am new at this so i am open to some direction.

Whose bench are you using? Have you pulled the SSR back at all? what is the throat?

where is the throat I ment.... how far past the turn.

interseting I have a set of pro topline 235 heads and if I remember correctly the pushrod pinch is 2.52 also.

Those numbers posted above look closer to a set of those heads I did a little work to a while ago. I just got a set of those heads with CNC chambers and they flow like crap. 256@ .600 and 258@.700. The heads I got before with as cast chambers flowed high 270's at .700 stock.

That throat dia is about .100 below the 45 deg seat. The numbers came off of Ruhls bench. I bought these heads some time ago and he did one cylinder for me and told me that he got them to be real close to what was advertised. So i just used the numbers form the book....I have no idea what bore he used to flow them. I am not real sure on how or where to check the ssr.....

Maybe i should run them up and let you check them???
