Looks like a decent set of iron to me. What chamber size are they at?

Even if you just use it for comparison to your next project you have a baseline of port energy vs. Performance. If your next set of heads have more port energy and perform better you know you are on the right track. Just another tool, more info the better. I would be glad to do it for you but you will owe me a beer when you visit. Thanks, Charlie
FlowZ for the 034 Bowtie's on Tommy Boy.

205cc and 5.45" port length.

.200--142
.300--197
.400--242
.500--264
.600--274
.700--276

Port Energy = 22.74 at .700" lift

Test #1 my ported Dart pre platinums 248cc 2.08 valve flows. I picked this head because I did get some flak that I totally screwed these by making them too big, plus the bowties will get dynoed and hopefully the results get shared and I can get an idea what I can do with these darts. Thanks, Charlie

Bowties, I did need to estimate some measurements and flows but I think I am pretty close to a decently ported bowtie head. If we have any big disagreements I can rerun the program. Thanks, Charlie

Port velocity and port energy Ported Dart vs. Ported Bowties. I have run Bowties and they run well if ported. I am looking forward to some of Randy's magic on this mill. Thanks, Charlie

Not even a comment? I wish the wife would give me the silent treatment. No such luck. Thanks, Charlie

Been getting ready to head to the dyno.

As far as magic, I didn't grind on the these heads, so any magic can't be credited to me.
But the car Tommy Boy was in ran well, so I expect it to do well on the dyno.

As far as port energy/flow curves go. I don't think these Bowties will flow what your bigger valve does down at .050"and .100", but I didn't flow them there so I'm basing that on past differences on valve sizes.

It's always an interesting day/days when we go to the dyno.

As for your wife, stay off st and take her to the beach one day !

For "Budget" that's impressive numbers. I assume that's best pull, where did it start at? I would love to dyno my engine one day. Its just never in my budget, because I'm broke...lol. Porbably would help me sort some stuff out though. I cant get my car to mph for nothing, 60fts like a monster but then just rolls along in high gear and quits pulling. I get an impressive HP number if I calculate HP by 60ft time, but pretty dismal one if I calculate by 1/4 mph.

Sounds like a healthy pull but I can't see a single number on that video. Please let us know the results. Thanks, Charlie
