That looks like it's been blasted with 24 grit media

Quick rough surface flow experiment. Pink pen is stock flows, swirl and Pitot measurements. Black pen is roughed surface flows, swirl and Pitot measurements. Gain is much more than I would have expected. Input welcome. Thanks, Charlie

I just dyno'd this burr marked Holley 300-110 this Saturday on a 380cid with my 205cc CNC heads.

I'm liking it. Is there any benefit to going through the process inside the plenum of a dual-plane intake? I doubt if there's much you can get to, especially the lower side.

Good use for spare nuts and bolts, blast them thru the runners for that good chunky finish!

Laugh if you like but I think I am on to something and on iron. Bring some muscle if you want to copy!

It would be interesting to see the effect of a very course media blasting but tested in 2 seperate ports/runners , one blasted downstream and the other blasted upstrean which would tend to bur and pickup the metal in a different direction relative to air/fuel flow.

From 3 years ago. Ford motorsports super cobra jet heads. These made a 1020hp, with a 2.25 intake. And, only 380cfm.
