the easiest way is to use an old valve. If you don;t have a valve. drop a bolt with a large head down the guide then a washer that loosely fits the seat id then 3 welds mig or stick are fine about 3/8-1/2 long to the seat and washer. then tap it out.

Thats how I do it....and I have a tig. I take an old valve and grind it to drop into the seat then mig weld mostly on the seat, a little on the valve then tap the valve to pop it out. Hit the seat with a hammer to get it and most of the weld off the valve, on to the next one.

Just used the "TIG welder trick" to remove some tapered steering head bearings on a motorcycle restoration Im doing....makes the job soooo much EASIER! Valve seats....TIG welder!
