John Deere pedal tractor

Post by BLstangin » Fri Oct 13, 2017 7:33 pm

My Dad has worked for John Deere for over 40
Years. When I was a little kid my dads boss got me a John Deere pedal tractor. I rode the wheels off of it and now that I have a daughter I wanted her to have one to ride around the shop to. I found a 1977 John Deere 520 that was all metal just like mine. I still have mine but it's mine! My brother does some powdercoating after work as a hobby so we decided to restore one for her and change the colors to something a little more girl friendly. Everything is powdercoated and the local sign shop made me new stickers in white and black instead of a yellow stripe. Needless to say it turned out better than I ever imagined and she's just as excited when I gave it to her today!

Excellent!
That little trailer will come in handy for the "go fer" errands too.
