You guys said use WIX 51061,But which one ?

I just called my parts guy and he said there a 51061,51061MP and a 51061R. Which one?? This is for my 8 second "Drive everywhere"car Oldhead

if i remember correct MP is a case. R is racing and has less filtering but more flow.

I wouldn't use 'R' series for street-driven application. Like racinnut said, the 'R' filter has larger micron media so that oil circulation is not restricted at high RPM.

MPs are sold by the case and not for individual sale. You get a case of shrinkwrapped filters instead twelve individually boxed filters.
