NEW Pro-Filer SBC 23º Manifold

Post by user-9274568 »

I get many PM's on the new Pro-Filer SBC manifold so I thought I would post up a few pictures and rough lengths.

I have a few dyno tests lined out for some data.

Outside runner: 6.00
Inside runner: 5.50
Outside opening: 3.60
Inside opening: 3.30 and 3.10

Are they available to the public yet? Profiler has nothing about them on their website yet. I'm looking at buying an intake for next year and was almost set to pull the trigger on a 300-25 and now this happens...

I searched for Wilson manifolds and Summit racing has them listed 495 dollars. Expensive, but if they are better out of the box than anything else available, Its cheaper than having something ported. Nothing against you head porters that are porting for a living...why not just start with the best. I will be watching this one for sure.

Are those locating pin holes on the flange? If so not a fan of the location.

Could be wrong, but pretty sure Wilson Manifolds were who developed it. Its a nice looking piece though. The thing that always bugged me about profiler manifolds, is, their marketing has always been, performs like a ported manifold without the porting. But they are always 2 to 3 times more expensive. So, your actually paying for the porting for a cast manifold. But they still need porting.

I had nothing to do with this manifold. However the price point is in line especially if it performs vs plenum moded manifolds.

$424.24 SV2 Jegs
$313.95 300-110 Jegs
$309.87 2925 Jegs

The 2925 is perhaps the worst manifold out of the box ever made. The other two perform well oob.

I have tests lined out, if it doesn't perform I'll tell you.

Never flowed a manifold alone.
