Carnut I put some more info in previous posts was there something else you needed.
David I am curious what your cam numbers would have been. I now this cam is not perfect but I wanted to use shelf piston and there is no extra ptv clearance right now.

Port lengths look long, how I do port lengths is I use solder and mold the roof for one measurement and do the same for the floor and average the lengths. I need the exhaust flange size as well. Thanks, Charlie

I know for sure intake is 5.4-5.45 the exhaust length i have wrote down is 3.5 but a stock one is 3.25 so I probably mis measured that. Exhaust exit is 1406. I use port centerline method.

I really tried to get smooth curves where I was missing Eric's flows. My exhaust flows still have a dip in the curve.

I've seen heads with that dip in the exhaust curve make more power than without the dip. It might have been .100 lower but the dip was the same. It was about 15 HP better at 8800 and averaged 8ish better everywhere.
Never did understand why.

Airflow is some crazy stuff. So maybe I won't kill myself trying to fix it. I did try a tulip valve that took a bunch of that dip out. Thanks, Charliestatsystems wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2017 8:06 pm

David I am curious what your cam numbers would have been. I now this cam is not perfect but I wanted to use shelf piston and there is no extra ptv clearance right now.
Be glad to run the numbers but not this week as I am up to my neck in alligators that just won't give me an even break to get the swamp drained. PM me next week and I will get it done for you.

Charlie,
I agree,
Eric's ex port is wicked strong. Eric can you show me how you did that as it is better than my Dart ports!!!!!

I will do that I would like to have an honest, non negative discussion about your cam formula. This is why I am curious about your numbers.David Vizard wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2017 9:05 pmEric.WeingartnerRacing wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2017 9:05 am Carnut I put some more info in previous posts was there something else you needed.
