5.0l SBF roller pedestal rockers
What's about all these roller rockers will take as far as RPM and spring force? I got a set of heads set up 130lbs seat and 330lbs open .545/.565 lift. Headed down the road to disaster or will it live for a while? They are 1.7 ford motorsports, they look like a crane rocker but blue.

I ran a set of 1.6's 150/360 spring psi .580 lift but I replaced the bolts with arp pieces. It was in my circle track car. 6600 every weekend every lap. They held up ok.

Ran similar spring rates to the O/P, same rockers, Comp XE lobe with similar lifts. Ran them for 10 years shifting at 6200 RPM, dozens of trips down drag strip.

Do you know what bolt from ARP you used? I was looking for some type of better bolt to put in but wasn't having much luck or looking the wrong place.

I just used summit racing and searched 5/16 arp bolts, and found the length I needed in custom 450 series.. 180,000 psi strength..
Don't over torque them. I had a problem with using arp lube on the cast iron heads and stretched a few of the screws that came with rockers. I was really worried abt the thread last in the heads, but they survived. Now I torque them dry and call it good..

With a tough enough bolt, those rockers themselves will handle over 200 pounds on the seat and over 550 open force ... a better alloy bolt is available from Jesel.
