You are the first person I have heard of that has one of those things. Is it the single carb or dual carb intake as I have seen images of both. I would love to get my hands on one to play with on the dyno to prove/disprove that it works or not. The general layout has me scratching my head.

Are we talking mix differences on the dyno, or on the track?

The single Carb version may have too much Plenum volume?

Is it breathing thru a scoop at the track?

Update
My buddy took our S10 to track. I was very disappointed W the performance of motor..
Supposed to be 385 ci
.040 350
3.75, flat top motor
Track 1 heads ported
Holley sheet metal sniper intake.
Stops pulling at 6300
Cam solid roller 260/270@050 , 686/686 110
Qft 850 annular booster
36* timing..
Truck went 11.80@107 on motor. Leaving at 4200 on break. Hookd and left like BREAD TRUCK
Granted tight 9.5" Fti NOS Converter w PG trans
3.73 Gear w 28x10 slick
Nitrous pass w an 85 jet 5.25* fp pull 10* total(26) on NOS
9.70@135. . IM CHANGING INTAKES TO A SINGLE PLANE SUPER VIK.
THANKS AND ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND.

Lots of duration, low compression, low stall and a 2 speed make a weak combo. The nitrous (gobs of torque on the launch) show the potential of the combo. A manifold change will help if it builds torque around your stall point.

The truck will never be quick on motor without converter and gearing changes, at which point you won't have the RPM available for the spray.

BTW, nice runs going 9's =D>
