power steering fluid cooler
was watching Roadkill on tv and they installed a transmission style cooler for the steering, what kind of application requires this? do big trucks use steering coolers?

Re: power steering fluid cooler
Most everything built in the last 30 years has some kind of PS fluid cooler. On my Honda it's just plain tubing that makes a loop across the bottom of the core support. On my GMC it's a little mini 2-row radiator, mounted in front of the AC condenser. They are everywhere once you start looking for them, more vehicles out there with them than without.
DON'T PANIC

On our track cars BMW, Corvette, etc.
When big sticky slicks are on the front it's not too difficult to overheat the fluid.
A small trans cooler to replace the trombone cooler is all it takes.
