GM WeatherPacks

Post by Steve Smith »

Hey Guys, can anyone point me to a standard for wiring the GM Packard Weatherpack connectors. Particularly the two poles in the short term. I believe the males should be in the "towers" but can't find any convention for polarity and supply/load connections. I don't own a GM car which is probably why this obvious question escapes me

I assume by "towers" you mean the male connector housing? Our company builds automotive wire harnesses that use Weatherpacks. It's most common to see socket terminals installed in the male housing, but they are interchangable and we sometimes put pin terminals in the male housing when specified by the customer.
