I bought a new short block with a 495/502 cam. The heads I want to buy have springs at 1.457. Are these springs with this cam a good match?
Going to be in a '74 vette, 4 speed, and 3:36 gears.

Need cam spec and spring specs, plus the intended use. To have a ballpark idea if they'd be ok.

Cam spec. Gezz!!!
How about we start off with if the cam is hydro, or a hydro roller

Wants 120# seat. 300-325# open. +/-
Remove one of the springs and measure on a spring tester.

Wouldn't that be part of the specs?
