Didn't Tom Klein offer something like those? I think I remember they were intended for towing applications.

Odd looking valve



Seems like the chamber would be bad about trapping mixture in on one side or the other. Seems like it would make more sense to force the charge over around the exhaust valve and light it off there. Maybe his theory was pass the mixture across the plug on its way to the exhaust valve?

Yes, that’s what it was .
