My Brother has a Mercedes Sprinter with the OM 642 turbocharged diesel in it. He is using it for towing.
Has anyone here installed a Boost Cooler Stage 2 kit on this particular engine?
I know there are magazine articles on Cummins and various other platforms.
Thanks for any leads.
Anyone installed a Snow boost kit on a Sprinter?

The exhaust inlet to the turbo is so small I’m not sure how much more power you could get.

Real world feedback from Indiana!
His Sprinter is the tow vehicle:She passed my test. With the re-tune she’ll pull the Jeep up the steepest hills around here on interstate 69 at at about 60 mph vs 55 and slowing prior to tune.

Don’t have any experience with that engine but you may not gain HP/torque but you’ll be able to sustain power available that you have. Especially up grades in the heat. You won’t have to over fuel to keep it cool and possibly gain some fuel mileage. You can of course tune and raise boost pressures to attain some gains but towing, unless really underpowered I wouldn’t go nuts.
