Beautiful work. I couldn't do it because it would leave me one thrown rod from suicide.

Mark, isn't 2000 grit just notebook paper?

LOL yea Ron almost, but even the 2000 has to get that black dust embedded into the paper before it will polish to a reflective surface. Mark H.

Englertracing------No BUT it is going back to Dart for the lifter bushing and cam tunnel machine work. So they will get to see it first hand. I think i'll put a note in with the block, please call Mr. Maskins over to see it. Actually the thought has passed through my mind-------wonder if they would trade me an alum. block for it since this is more of a handling deal than drag race deal ? As far as weight reduction i have not weighed it, thought i would wait till ALL machine work is done including deck to 9.00". Mark H.

Alright, here's a new one. This one actually pays the bills. Making sure a product line I'm working on doesn't violate the "this device may not cause harmful interference" statement you see on things. Although this is an industrial device so the levels and frequencies aren't the exact same.

10M radiated emissions in anechoic chamber. It's dead quiet in there and ZERO cell signal.

Reminds me of after I polished out my first intake manifold. After assembly I realized I could only see maybe 20% of my work.
The next one I dummied everything up, marked it and only polished what was visible. Much quicker job. =D>
