One for the Mopar guys as I have a 540 build for a customer and cant seem to find a listing for any "HX" series main bearings for the 2.750 crank journal.
I have seen the MS2233HG 3/4 groove and the MS1277HG full groove. I would prefer the 1/2 or 3/4 groove as I think that would be a better option but cant find any thing in a HX option. What are you mopar guys using for the 750 +HP range??

Are you running a crank that's not cross drilled?

How much clearance do you want that you need the "X" bearings ?

I used to like the King HP bearings, but I don't think they are available anymore. Last build I used the Speed Pro 119m 3/4 groove bearings. Knock on wood they are still working. When you own and race a Chrysler you don't have the luxury that Chevy guys do, many times you have to settle for what you can get. If you have an aftermarket block with priority oiling the oil issues are solved a 1/2 groove bearing will work just fine, If you are in the 700+ range with a stock block the cylinder walls and no. 2 main cap are your weak points, bearing problems are secondary.

Check ACL bearings. And i read bad things about cross drilled cranks! I have a 4.315 stroke, 4.50bore wedge with 572-13 heads, have had it to 8,000 rpm with a non cross drilled crank. Half groved mains at .0035, too much for aluminum block i am told. My go to guy says .0022 to .0025, due to aluminum growth at running temp. Currently apart after 20 dyno pulls and three runs due to a loss of prime on startup, to check things over.
1965 dodge Dart, 549 cu in wedge, 8.60 at 156 mph best. 2905 lbs, soon, 8.40s!

King has MB 5116XP-X, or MB 5116HP-X
My guy doesn't have them at this time.

Those king pn's are my first choice. None to be found.
I spoke with a sales rep a week ago and was informed no scheduled production on the books☹
