This question is not a cam or an engine question, but a Pipemax software question.
I have a 360 Mopar engine with a cam that is installed 4 degrees retarded. I am trying to simulate the changes that would occur if the cam were advanced by 8 degrees to end up being 4 degrees advanced. When I run the simulation in Pipemax, the HP and torque outputs do not change. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but I cannot figure out what. Attached are the Pipemax outputs. The red arrow shows the only input value that was changed (the intake lobe centerline). I expected the numbers in the pink box to change, but they did not. What am I missing?

Re: Pipemax Question
if you have version 3.98 and redo this test you will be able to see it will change in the operating range of the cam. i don't know why the pro or later version doesn't give the operating range of the heads and cam intake timing and exhaust timing like the earlier version.
