I have been chasing some lost dyno hp, on a n/a 725 hp engine 750 on race gas, how much would a twin 3 inch with x pipe with 2 straight threw junk muffler then over the diff and 2 more small mufflers hold it back? , i am going to run it later in the year with pipes droped with collector extensions to see the difference.

There was an engine masters episode where they tested some systems with pretty big pipes, and slightly smaller pipes.

On enginge masters it was 454 bb chev 620 hp 580 ft open pipes the twin 2 1/2 robbed 20 hp and 25 ft lbs. but you chuck a extra 100-125 hp would the 3 inch choke it as much ?
